Data Deletion & Privacy Requests

1. Send your request

Email meetings@earny.co.za from your ShiftScript account email where possible. Use the subject ShiftScript privacy request and include:

• Your account email and name.
• The workspace name, if relevant.
• Whether you want a copy, correction, account closure or deletion.
• Which meeting, task, draft, profile or Google connection records are involved.

Do not send your password, API key, Google token or a copy of an identity document unless we specifically request suitable verification through an appropriate method.

2. What happens next

We verify your identity and authority, clarify the requested scope and identify the records involved. For shared workspace content we may need the workspace owner's involvement and must respect other people's rights. Closing your account does not necessarily erase the entire team's meeting history.

We will explain the action taken or any lawful reason a record must be retained. The current app does not provide automated whole-account or whole-workspace erasure. Provider-managed backups and logs may remain for their applicable retention periods; copies already sent to recipients or saved to your Google account are separate.

3. Controls you can use immediately

• Disconnect Google: open Meet and choose Disconnect, then revoke ShiftScript in Google account connections if you also want to withdraw Google's authorisation. Imported meetings remain until separately removed.
• Stop daily reminder emails: disable Daily email reminders in your profile and save your preferences.
• Clear a draft: use the meeting draft discard control. On shared devices, clear ShiftScript site data to remove browser-held drafts and sign-in state.
• Correct information: edit your profile or permitted task fields. Email us for records that have no suitable in-app correction control.

4. Separate copies and further help

Google source documents, saved Calendar events, downloaded exports and delivered emails must be managed in their own services or by their recipients. ShiftScript cannot delete those copies by closing your account.
